Editor’s Note: CL would like to reassure you that she has not quit blogging. But after myriad and sundry mishaps with computers, apps, and technology, she is going OFFLINE. In the meantime, please enjoy a few things that can only be appreciated while in that glorious place called OFFLINE.

Like this spectacular slice of pink cake from an excellent bakery in Asbury Park. As beautiful as it was delicious.

And a cup of hot tea in an adorable teapot.

Some cool flags hanging above an alley in Nashville.

This guy.

Kitties enjoying scarves and a blanket made for them by their grandma.

Whatever the heck this was, but when it’s that pretty it hardly matters.

A super cool looking mushroom. Do you know what this mushroom never did? Sat there for twenty minutes looking for device.

This very accurate sign.

A huge old turtle, who was in no rush whatsoever.

Some baby birds. Yes, babies. They were hanging out waiting to be fed, and probably came up to your knee. You should’ve seen the mom.

PIE!!

The coolest roots ever. Do you know what those roots never did? They never jumped up out of the ground and said OOPS! We couldn’t find that page!

A spectacular view.

Now, GET OFFLINE!

Photo: some horseshoe prints at the park. If you got your face out of your phone, you would notice them in the sand on the ground.
