As this month and quarter and the first half of the year comes to a close, I issue a status update on a few loose ends.

Ralph and I are watching a scary show so it gave me a moment to reflect on things that are actually scary.

We celebrated pi day so it's only fair to celebrate tau day. Math people like it better, and if it means two slices of pie, so do I.

Today is a pineapple of the finest flavor! I learned some pretty astonishing things about this delicious fruit, and love it even more now.

My grandmother used to say, "It's tough to get old." I believe her.

When strawberry season is over but the mint is looking spry, what do you do? Make mojitos, of course!

Thinking about summer led to thinking about summer things led to fun trivia about those things.

We tried a lunch place that we've never been to and it didn't turn out quite like we hoped.

Summer is synonymous with boardwalks, with games, ice cream and Ferris wheel fun. It's just another reason that summer is the best season.

It's the first day of summer! My favorite season, for lots of reasons. And I only mention ice cream twice.
