I decided today that for each color of the rainbow (plus a few bonus colors) I would choose one - ONE! - thing on planet earth that looks just fantastic in that color.

I asked my brother David for a word today, and it took him about three seconds to come up with something so obscure that I had to Google it. This is the result.

I asked Hello Kitty if she wanted to be my word today, and she was so excited by the idea. We debated it a bit, and whether Hello Kitty could count as one word, and decided that yes, yes it could.

I've been having a bit of a love affair with carrots lately, especially a particular kind I get at the Farmers Market. Today, I celebrate them.

Today was a good work day, which got me thinking about work, which got me thinking about work-life balance. But there is no such thing. It's really work-life integration. Doing all the things that are part of your existence without one consuming the other like a parasite.

Breathe a sigh because I'm giving both of us as break today. Me from writing all the words, and you from reading them. There are just a few. Because I can still write, even if it's not a litany.

Today I got on the Peloton and did a real ride for the first time in a long time. It was ridiculously energizing, and a feeling I wanted to remember.

Ralph asked a friend today, "Are you happy?" That got me thinking about what it means to be happy, and what the alternatives are.

I didn't exactly have a word for today but I had ideas and I had 30 minutes walking on the treadmill to figure it out. Thirty minutes that turned into a countdown that turned into a word.

My last color day was somewhere back in January, and the word was blue. So it's high time for another one, and today's color word comes courtesy of whatever phase I'm going through right now that makes it so appealing: green.
