Shiny And New

It's a new year, a new document, a new day. Same old me. Although not quite. They say you never step in the same river twice. So as cliché as it may sound, my word for the day is: new. Not in a "new new" way, but more in an "old stuff seems new and shiny" way, like it does every year.

Gratitude And Goals: January 2019

I set myself a few goals this year. Nothing grandiose, more like tasks, really. Things I could do and then look at and say yup, did that. One of the things I decided to do this year is gratitude journaling. Maybe you’ll have a little better day because of it. And maybe you'll even share it with me. I'd be most grateful.

Tethered

I started to hate my house for a lot of reasons. It wasn’t until I asked why that I started to feel hopeful again.

A Dishtowel Made Me Cry

When I got married I had so many dishtowels that I started giving them away because I didn’t think it was possible for a human to ever need that many dishtowels in a lifetime. Recently I found myself in search of a dishtowel and instead I found a memory.
